Terms

Plainly-worded terms for using Videographer.org.

Estimates

Budgets shown are calibrated estimates for planning, not quotes or guarantees. A final price is set by the videographer you hire, based on your specific shoot.

Matching

When you submit, your order routes to matching local videographers. We don’t take a commission on your shoot — you book and pay the videographer directly.

Videographers

Listing is free, and leads are free to receive and to accept. You choose your coverage and which leads to take. A client’s contact details are shown only after you accept their request. If that ever changes we will say so here and in your account first, and nobody is charged retroactively for what they already had free.

Videographer fees

Listing is free and leads are free. There is no subscription, no per-lead fee, and no commission on your shoot — not for a lead you accept, not for one you pass on, and not for one you were shown. Optional paid services (a written feature, managed advertising) are quoted separately and never affect who receives a lead.

Paid services are separate from leads entirely. A written feature or managed advertising is quoted to you directly, in advance, and is never a condition of receiving or accepting a lead. Nothing you buy changes who a lead goes to.

Nothing is charged, and no payment method is collected anywhere in the product. If a paid tier is ever introduced we will say so on this page and in your account before any charge is made, and nobody is charged retroactively for what they already had for free.

If a lead you accepted turns out to be unreachable, already booked, or materially different from what was described, email [email protected] and tell us — a bad lead costs you nothing, but we want to know, because routing junk is how a directory stops being worth opening.

Acceptable use

Don’t submit false requests, scrape, or abuse the service. We may rate-limit or remove misuse.
